Ingredients

  • Breast fillets ½ kg 
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp 
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tbs 
  • Cream 1 tbs 
  • Cumin seeds roasted & crushed ½ tbs 
  • Salt ½ tsp or to taste 
  • Green chili crushed 1 tbs 
  • Raw papaya paste 2 tbs or Meat tenderizer 1 tbs 
  • Yogurt 2 tbs 
  • Lemon juice 2 tbs 
  • Kashkhash (Poppy seeds) soaked 1 tbs 
  • Cashew nuts soaked 10-12 
  • Water 1-2 tbs 
  • Cooking oil 1-2 tbs  
  • Capsicum cubes ½ Cup 
  • Onion cubes ½ Cup 
  • Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke

For Gravy

  • Cooking oil 3 tbs 
  • Butter 1 & ½ tbs 
  • Cloves 2 
  • Green cardamom 3 
  • Onion grinded 1 large 
  • Ginger grated ½ tbs 
  • Green chili crushed 1 tbs 
  • White pepper powder ½ tsp 
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp 
  • Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 tsp 
  • Salt ½ tsp or to taste 
  • Yogurt whisked ¾ Cup 
  • Milk ½ Cup as required 
  • Cream 2 tbs 
  • Kasoori methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) ½ tsp

Method

  • Cut chicken fillets into cubes.
  • In bowl,add chicken boneless cubes,white pepper powder,ginger garlic paste,cream, cumin seeds, salt green chilies, raw papaya paste, yogurt, lemon juice, mix well and marinate for 2 hours.
  • In blender,add cashew nuts,poppy seeds,water and blend well & set aside.
  • In grill pan,add cooking oil and marinated chicken, grill until done & set aside.
  • In the same grill pan, add cooking oil,capsicum,onion and grill for 1 minute & set aside.
  • Give a charcoal smoke for 2 minutes & set aside.
  • In wok, add sufi cooking oil,butter and let it melt.
  • Add cloves,green cardamom and mix.
  • Add grinded onion,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add ginger,green chilies,cashew+poppy seeds paste,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add white pepper powder,black pepper powder,cumin seeds,salt and mix well.
  • Add yogurt and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Add cream and mix well.
  • Now add grilled chicken & vegetables and mix well.
  • Add dried fenugreek leaves,cover and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add butter & serve!
